This 3.5-star cottage is adjacent to our new Cockatoo function room but separated from it by a foyer/breezeway. It can be used as a stand-alone cottage perfect for couples using just downstairs. Using upstairs as well, the cottage can be configured to sleep as many as 8 or 9. As a combo with Cockatoo the pair are especially suitable for self-catered celebrations and seminars. Cafe Cottage is comfortable and secluded with an outdoor bath.
Cafe Cottage features a very large fully equipped kitchen, dining room, lounge, large verandah and BBQ. King beds in upstairs and d/stairs bedrooms can be divided into singles if required and an extra full single foldup can fit in u/s king bedroom. Loft (curtained, no door) contains 2 trundle king singles that can be zipped to make another king bed or rolled away so the room can be used as clear-space rumpus room. Dining area is dividable to make a 4th BR with space for up to 2 single foldups. The lounge has a queen sized sofa bed, TV/DVD and musicplayer. Cafe Cottage has two toilet rooms, a separate shower and access to a complying disabled toilet with shower in the adjacent foyer shared with Cockatoo Room. All linen provided. This romantic 4-star cottage contains an open kitchen/dining/lounge room, a queen and king bedroom and a loft. There is a single bathroom downstairs, a romantic outdoor bath and an extra outside shower. The king bed can be unzipped into singles. Loft has 2 king singles that can be zipped to form king. Up to extra 2 full single foldups can fit in loft (abs max is 8). All linen provided. Fully equipped chefs kitchen contains food prep island. Tea/coffee/milk arrival supplies only. While Cockatoo Room is especially designed for celebrations, when not being used for these it is available for use as a stand-alone open-plan cottage rated by AAA at 3 stars. It features mudbrick walls, local hardwoods,cathedral ceilings, 100sq m of interior space with high quality timber flooring. We modify it for cottage use by providing curtains to go around 2 queen-sized sofa beds. It thus offers visual but not auditory sleeping privacy when required by more than a couple. We can add several single foldup beds if required. It is separated from Cafe Cottage by a foyer/breezeway via which it shares access to a disabled toilet. Access to exclusive-use toilets and bathroom is off the verandah. As a cottage it is ideal for 2-8 persons. It has its own kitchenette, wide-screen HDTV, CD/iPod dock, pot-belly stove, as many tables and chairs as are required and two table tennis tables. This 4-star bush apartment can be linked on the mezzanine level with its pair (Oystercatcher) to make the 3BR "Seabird Cottage". The large upstairs bedroom has a king bed and sufficient space to add 2 foldup beds. The king can be divided into singles if req. THe sofa bed downstairs is comfortable queen sized. Porcelain-tiled downstairs lounge room contains sofa that converts to double innerspring bed, cosy pot-belly stove, coffee and dining table. Flat 19" TV and DVD and separate CD system in lounge, TV/DVD/VCR in bedroom. All linen provided. Kitchen (with d/w, 2 burner hotplate and combo microwave/convection oven) and bathroom downstairs. Cancellation Policy / Terms & Conditions
Our full accommodation contract is on our website as an "Accommodation" sub-tab. The cancellation clauses of that contract relating to a booking made directly with us follow:-
a. If you cancel an off-peak or long weekend booking more than 2 weeks before it is due to commence we will charge a cancellation fee of $50 for each accommodation unit and function room cancelled. This $50 can be applied as part deposit for a replacement booking commencing within 6 months.
b. If you cancel an off peak booking less than 2 weeks before it is due to commence (even if booked within this notice period) then we will charge a cancellation fee equal to the first nights accommodation.
c. If you cancel a public holiday long weekend booking less than 2 weeks before it commences then the cancellation fee will be the first two nights accommodation.
d. If you cancel a peak or summer holiday booking more than 6 weeks before commencement we will charge a cancellation fee of $150 for each accommodation or function unit cancelled and refund you all amounts paid in excess of this.
e. If you cancel a peak or summer holiday booking 2-6 weeks before it is due to commence (even if booked within this notice period) then we will retain a cancellation fee of 50% of the tariff for each night cancelled.
f. If you cancel a peak booking less than 2 weeks before it is due to commence we will charge a cancellation fee of 100% of the tariff per cancelled night.
g. Should someone else book cancelled nights under e or f above then we will make a further prorata refund except for cancellation fee of $200 per unit.
h. If you do not cancel and do not utilise a booking then: if it is an off-peak booking we will charge for the first nights accommodation; if it is a peak period booking then the quoted tariff for the whole of the period booked will be charged.
